Hi, Can't you resize the pics in a photo app? Ich-X works great for ich.

Re: Jumping back into pea puffers, question about initial shoaling stock
I have 3 adults & will be getting more juvies this week. I have a heavily planted tank.

Re: Pea puffer or GSP
Yep, 3 peas in a pod. Peas are shoaling fish--prefer to be in groups of 6 or more. My guess is if you have the room for 3 GSPs, you'd have enough room for 6 DPs.

What the heck is "auto-cycle"? I'd NEVER listen to that LFS! Since you killed off most of the bacteria, you definitely would have to cycle that tank again. I suggest doing an 80% WC & adding Tetra Safestart directly to your filter. https://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/water-fil...

My Arrow is also in a 46 bowfront. I use it for snail breeding for my other puffers, too.

Pour it near the intake.
OMG, do you have any idea how dangerous it is to boil live rock??
It could release toxic fumes and the pressure buildup inside the rocks could cause them to explode.
Have you tested your water lately?

It is LIVE nitrifying bacteria. Most other products are dead bacteria in a bottle.

Re: Getting a new figure 8, need some advice
I always disliked internal filters because they take up room inside the tank. If you remove the guppy before adding the puffer, you might be OK or you could just add Tetra Safestart to the filter before adding the new fish.

Re: Pea-puffer with neon green rasboras
How large is the tank? Pea puffers are schooling fish & should be kept in a group of 6 or more.

I'm excited to hear about his future! There are very few willing to house these great fish properly.

Hi, Thank you for rescuing this poor fish. Now, someone needs to take that RTC from that idiot!
My only thought is the fish is depressed in a tank that small. Fish like that can go as long as 6 weeks without eating, so don't worry too much yet.
