Re: gsp confusion? help please(:

Well humans can be upto 6 or 7 feet tall, but I'm only 5 feet. Could be the same with gsps, just because SOME can be that big, doesn't mean all will be.

There
I put some abstract canvases behind until I get a real background.
It's only been 1 day and he is already following me around :) This is awesome !
Will be adding more for him to hide in the next few days - week.

Is 29g big enough for a F8?

I own 2 gsps in a 75g so I'm used to a large tank and puffers that need some room. I've read that 29 would be big enough for 1 F8 as they require less room however it looks small to me, is it just because of what I'm used to? I have a 29g setup for a while and there's a F8 I want but my 29g looks sm...

Re: Chomper (gsp) floating on his side and curled

the snail was from the forest

i believe that was the issue because he's getting better, and having horrible poops, like diarrhea it's super runny.

Re: Chomper (gsp) floating on his side and curled

ph is 8 - 8.2 ammonia and nitrite both at 0 In the tank is chomper and little one - both gsps they usually eat krill, bloodworms, baby brine shrimp, mussels, and sometimes LFS snails and mealworms (rarely) but last night they had a snail from outside, so I would guess that's what's up. Also one smal...

Chomper (gsp) floating on his side and curled

Chomper has been doing very well for so long! And then this morning as I turned on his light before coming to work I noticed he was being very differnt than normal. Normally he wakes up when I come into the room and he zips up to me and the black on his belly from sleeping fades away and within 1 mi...

Re: I moved - here's the aquarium, and his sleeping spots :)

the little rocks for the river or whatever they're called (sorry) ended up alll over last time as well, eventually.
but my net actually holds the rocks, and strains the snd so its super super easy to collect the rocks and regroup them :)

Re: Not there anymore!!

one time i found my puffer fish stuck to the wall behind his tank.

i remember reading that someone had a puff and also had a dog, and found the puffer under the fridge.

SO many places it could be ! Maybe even stuck to a rock that you moved ?

Re: Stupid Puffer....I KNOW you're hungry!! :(

When I feed muscles...... if the outside is facing up, my puffers do not see it !!!!

but if the outside is facing down, they are all over it - and then if it flips, so the outside is up again, he again goes away and acts like its not even there
