I agree. When we first wrote into puffer forum about our problems (which stemmed from lack of information & research on my end before purchase) we were told min of 30 gallons per fish. So they will be the only two in the tank from now on, its just a shame we lost another one to get here. We were...

lifeless, floating. Don't know how long he has been out of the tank. I tried to massage any air out of his belly...more harm than good? Didn't know if I should try puting him in cool or salt or medicated water...any combo of the above?

Help! Help! GSP jumped out of the tank

My husband just found one of the GSP's in back of the tank. Looks very lifeless. However, I remember when I first logged onto the web site about a man whose wife pulled a puffer she thought was dead out of the tank & through it out. He pulled it several hours later & tried to flush it & ...

THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...

Well, this post is strictly to say thank you to all of the people who spend their time posting...basically answering questions...for those of us who need support with our puffers. You can see my saga under "black bellied GSP's"....it has definitely been a journey. All three seem to be doin...

GSP very dark update

:D :D :D :D Have been treating the whole tank (70 gal w/ 3 GSP) for one week. Put the last dose for internal parasites in this morning. The dark one looks great! He is eating again, with a good appetite! His color looks great today, belly is white & his top looks more in line with the other two....

More info: My husband reminded me that before I started consulting with the puffer forum, when they were still in the 10, he fished a small worm out of the tank. There were live plants in the tank when they were in the 20 gallon (prior to the 10 gallon). We were told that is not unusual & not to...

He is slimmer than the other two. Some days he is not that interested in eating. But when he does eat his belly swells with a lump like the others. He has only been taking one or two shrimp. We have been trying to get food right in front of him so that the other two piglets don't gobble it up before...

GSP very dark

I started with four GSPs in a 10 gallon tank. After much advise on a different post, we still have three in a 70 gallon. Two still seem to be doing just fine. Eating well, nice color, white bellies. The one that had a dark belly that is still alive is now very dark all over most of the time, but lig...
