I just tested the ph of my tap and it looks to be about 7.8, the ph of my brown puffers tank looks to be about 8.2

If the ph in his tank is 8.3 what should I do to lower it? That is the highest ph i've seen in my tanks, but i'm worried that it might be harmful to him as brown puffers like a lower ph.
