I just talked to the guy at the store where I purchased the puffers. He assured me that it was not saltwater ich. So, I will buy the Bio Spira, raise the temperature and salinity. How much can I raise the temperature at a given time without hurting the fish? Jennifer

I just found Bio Spira. (I live in Dallas, Texas) I am also suppose to call the store where I purchased the puffers back after 2:00 to talk to the guy who works there. Hopefully, that will help answer the question is it sw ich, or fw. Jennifer

Eric, Thanks for responding. Yes, we are using marine salt. I called a few stores to see if they had Bio Spira. So far I have only found Bio Zyme. Does anyone know if it is the same thing? There are still several stores that I can call but I ran out of time.
