Re: Successfully Breeding Fahaka Puffer
@pufferpunk Yes i've seen that thread before. Now i remember that one of my 7 pairs had done the same thing; the male beat the female. I able to removed them separately in time by the way. And for the young puffers, i sold them in the local store and gave them to my relative with some "manual&q...

Re: Puffer Identification
Hello guys, a quick update: Unfortunately, the first (maybe not the very first) batch is a failure. They all died; leaving only 7 total; still idk what is the cause. T_T Luckily, i have put a number of 5 to a very small tank, and they all survived. From the main tank where the eggs was laid, only 3 ...

Re: Puffer Identification
It looks like the FW Spotted Congo puffer, Tetraodon schoutedeni, is making a comeback! How much were these? I mean, these puffers are endemic to Sumatera-Indonesia (SE Asia). Are they possibly a new Species? They cost me 5bucks each. Just for information: from 5 puffers i have, 1 of them swims lik...

Re: [ASK] fahaka / mbu Tank setup
I don't understand why you think it is difficult to clean a tank with substrate in it. Just stir & remove 1/2 the water weekly. Can you get something like this (or easily make it), to clean the gravel, remove water & fill the tank? http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display....

[ASK] fahaka / mbu Tank setup
dear all, firstly, i'm sory if my english was not so good :D - i just wondering, and planning too, what if this fahaka (or mbu) will be placed in an empty scape tank; i mean a tank without any decoration. my purpose on doing so was to make it easy to clean up the tank. my tank was 1.8x0.6x0.6 and wi...
