Double post..lol i had posted in another thread but i suppose it makes more sense in here... :D Ive just actually set up my 60 gallon tank with 3 huge African Land Snails in it to breed for my puffers although the other fish seem to love them too...I actually only set it up yesterday after visiting ...

Ive just actually set up my 60 gallon tank with 3 huge African Land Snails in it to breed for my puffers although the other fish seem to love them too...I actually only set it up yesterday after visiting my local LFS to pick up 3-400 baby snails that have just hatched which i was told a few weeks ag...

Have you a shrimp you could tempt him off the substrate? see how he reacts..a fish that eats is a healthy fish,whether puffer or not

I have overfead my puffers before on quite a few occasions and they sit on the substrate untill everything is digested before they are active again..mine do sit sleep on the sand though which is quite normal,if its strange for your GSP then i would be worried but if its happened before and like you ...

There is 5 x 9 inch MBU's where i sometimes go and they are not in great conditions thats for sure..it is a shame and although i own MBU's i dont actually think any fish that grows to that sort of size should be sold unless there is proof that they will have the tank size required,even then i think ...
