his spots are very pale greyish white, and his green is pale. I know being darker is bad (poor water quality) but i have usually read going pale occasionally is normal. He has been like this all day so im hoping its just him not used to the lighting.

thanks i was wondering about them i thought i could kinda see a feather duster type worm coming out of the spiral. they are popping up everywhere! thanks! yeah he has stared at them closely, but i havent seen him nip yet. Him and my damsel get along fine (with an occasional chasing around the tank), and i havent seen him nip at the feather duster yet. He is a pretty calm puffer so far, but he is still a baby so im crossing my fingers!!
