That sounds pretty good!! quick question tho? do plants cause any water problems..parasites or do they die off ? because 20 dollars here 20 dollars there it can be expensive,buying new plants all the time if they die frequently... im guessing i would need some tall plants.. to my tank is pretty deep..

Thankyou to all for your interesting feedback!! Im guessing im going to need some more plants then as well as hiding spaces like rock caves or something like that! i have thought about live plants.. what kind of plants do DPS need or like for that matter?

So my 90 gallon is almost cycled...and im planning on getting dps for it..Do they need Real plants to thrive..because i only have fake plants,,and i dont know the fisrt thing about a live planted tank...also how many should i keep in a 90 gallon?...do they need alot of places to hide?

Figure 8 puffers
i was talking to a guy at J&l aquatics, he said they have figure 8 puffers that live in freshwater and dont have to convert to brackish water is this true? or is it a must to have them in brackish only? or can they adapt to fresh water only?? confused?
