Re: Question about GSP's and crabs in the same tank
Even if they become tasty treats I didnt pay much for them. My puffer doesnt seem to care for clam or crab but loves shrimp. And the man at the pet store said they tolerate brackish water but not full marine. Thanks for the post

My question is if there's any way the crabs could infect my puffer with any kind of diseases by being in the same tank? They're in...

Re: HELP MY LITTLE GSP!!!
Morning Report: She made it through the night! She's swimming around and exploring, but still a little slow and her belly is patchy black. The water is still very murky, slightly less than before though. I checked my Windex Bottle and it said it is a "Green Product". Nothing about ammonia....

Re: HELP MY LITTLE GSP!!!
:D that is good news! I am in a quandary as to feeding. If you feed it will give him energy but it will also add to the problem (waste and any uneaten food). If you can do a controlled feeding and do another water change before bed that may be the best solution. keep in mind that ammonia spikes can...

Re: HELP MY LITTLE GSP!!!
:D Keep up the changes until your nitrites read zero. If possible test again after 8 hours, if not test again asap and repeat the process if necessary. As mentioned befor there are 2 sides to the coin on water changes: A) The massive water change will dilute the water proportionate to the volume ta...

Re: HELP MY LITTLE GSP!!!
something caused that to happen, left over food or the windex (which may contain ammonia). The changes are your best bet. I just realized that i sprayed the mirror behind my tank with windex too. some of it may have drifted down into the tank and it was just enough to cause a spike. I guess im doin...
