You should be fine with the 18" wide aquarium. I have never seen in person or in pictures a captive fahaka that was 18-19". It just does not happen.

Not sure about two fahakas, but my fahaka ElDiablo and my gsp PudderLubber have gotten along great for about 1&1/2 years now.

:( I've got a pretty mean 12" Goldspot pleco. He has lots of spikes he tries to hit me with when I clean the tank. He takes some pretty good stabs at the python. I'd hate for that to be my hand! He lives with my fahaka BTW but he is one of the rarities. I hate to say it, but you will wake up on...
