I would say over the past year my fangs seems to want to eat less. He's not sick, and his weight is healthy...it's just not been good for my parameters to have uneaten food in there. That is NOT a green spotted puffer. It is a freshwater puffer, but I need to see a side picture to give you a proper id.

Feed a dp 1 snail daily, the size of its eye. Or you could feed a couple thawed blood worms or live black worms

2.5 gallons is way too small! I'm not saying for the snails....I'm saying for your sanity. You'll be over run quickly, water changes will have to be daily (or more) and its hard to clean a tank that small without dumping most of the snail babies out... It's great that you want to do this, but dps do...
