thank you everyone for your help. im sure thats exactly it that my filter and tank can't handle the bioload and i know that i do need to rehome 1 of them at this point...i dont know anyone personally that would want or be able to take one so any suggestions? i have been doing frequent water changes ...

like i said when i got the fish i knew nothing about them and the LFS told me to set up the tank without the fish in it and let it run for a week or 2 and then come back and get them so thats what i did...my fish had trouble in the beginning probably because it was not cycled properly but i figured ...

that makes sense...ok well since i dont have access to a bigger tank what should i do?

sooo the white patch was really a glue spot on the fake cave that i mustve just never seen before!

do u mean me RTR? im only asking because he just started doin it and my other GSP's tail fin is open all the time.

now its the next day and he's still doing it... any thoughts on why?

my GSP's tail fin is not fanning out. he's zooming around the tank happy as can be but his tail fin is staying together...what could this be???
