Recently, my tank has finally cycled. (a-0 ni-0 nitrate 20) How much water should I change and how often should I change it in my GSP tank without killing the bacteria?

Substrate
My husband and I are planning on switching our regular gravel to a coral substrate, how many pounds do you think would be sufficient enough for my 29 gallon brackish tank? Also, I was more interested in getting live sand instead of crushed coral, but one of my filters goes all the way to the bottom ...

Re: GSP Tank PH/DH help
The 29 gallon is only temporary, and is adequate for my puffer who is only an inch to an inch and a quarter is size. About the substrate, will doing water changes lower my ph even if I have live sand or gravel in my tank?

My PH is currently 7.4 and my DH is quite low at 5. I am wondering what do do, as I have read that it ...

Re: New GSP Mom, ICH!!!
I bought TLC to cycle my tank, that was all we could find around here, we didn't really know about cycling the tank until after we had the fish, so when we started the new tank, we added the salt, waited for it to completely cycle through the tank, and then added the appropriate amount of TLC, and w...

New GSP Mom, ICH!!!
My husband and I are first time GSP parents, we have done a TON of research about GSPs. We have a puffer, juvenile, in a 29 gallon brackish tank....We just yesterday moved him from a five gallon (I know, this is incredibly too small, we were unaware of our puffer needing so much room)....My husband ...
