Do puffers like high flow??

I just recently changed my puffers tank. I had her in a 20H and switched her over to a 20L. I also upgraded her filter to one that is rated for a 55gal. There is a pretty strong current now in the new tank. Do puffers like high flow like this? (She is a F8 puffer kept in a low brackish tank. Salinit...

They see something that looks neat, bring it home, throw it in a tank, and expect all to go well. I think this thread has quickly go...

I currrently have my F8 in a 20gal high. I read that she would probably like a 20gal long better because of the longer footprint and wider swimming room. Is this true? Should I switch her to a 20L?

Re: Puffer doesn't crunch snails?

Thanks all for the replies. She is a F8 and I am feeding her ramshorns that I breed in 3 other tanks. I am trying to pull out the smaller ones. I might have to resort to squishing them for her (gross!). The shells are pretty soft since they are still really little. I can crunch them with my fingers ...

Re: What's your puffer's name?

Corazón is spanish for heart. So, we went off of that and named her Cora. It is really fitting for her because of her heart shaped spot.

Puffer doesn't crunch snails?

After reading this forum, I have read that most other people's puffers actually crunch the snail, shell and all, up to eat them. My little girlie likes to just pull the snail outta the shell to eat them. Sometimes she only bites off half of the snail and leaves some still in the shell. Is this norma...
