Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Short of dismantling the main tank, I checked everywhere possible.

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
No, that shrimp was dead, and in pieces. The other one's still around, and has molted like twice. Plus, my Kenya tree keeps shedding frags. I think my giant snail may have died. I haven't seen him in ages. Also, the yellow clown goby vanished. It kept ending up into the sump tank, and one day I saw ...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Tank's still going strong. My Kenya tree recently split off a few frags, and I seem to be building up a nice amount of copepods. Still only that one red mushroom. I REALLY want it to grow big and/or multiply... I also have lots of small fragile starfish hiding in the rocks, now.

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
I've recently added a green flowerpot coral and a yellow clown goby to the mix. We'll see if my flowerpot lives a long time, or if it dies within a year (as many seem to do). I got suckered into buying it, but it sure is pretty! As for the goby, the silly guy has already managed to end up in my sump...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
I just noticed one of my new shrimp is dead. He was lying on the sand in two pieces. I really don't think I have anything in the tank that would attack a shrimp, so I'm a little confused... I guess he coulda gotten into the powerhead, and been chopped up, but that just seems odd. Sucks, cause I just...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
So, I was looking at the tank today, and I've decided that this is an anemone. From a quick search online, I'm thinking it's a majano anemone. Anyone able to tell from this pic? I'll try to take some more tomorrow...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
I took a few pics. The tank a couple of weeks ago. http://i42.tinypic.com/295wwgx.jpg The tank, now. http://i39.tinypic.com/20rmybp.jpg What I've decided is Anthellia with a new Emerald Crab and new polyps above it. http://i43.tinypic.com/343g3o0.jpg The new colony of what I think may be blue Xenia ...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
So, another update...
I picked up 2 Emerald crabs, and 2 peppermint shrimp for my tank.
I've also added some Chaeto to the sump, and I went and picked up two pieces of LR with some sort of Polyps on them.
Here's hoping it keeps going well!

All I remember, is that the avatar is of a baby chameleon. Don't remember the kind or whatnot.

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Haha, yea I probably stole this pic from there. I don't actually own a chameleon myself. I just think they're neat. Plus I never have gotten a really good shot of my puffers.

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Just installed a proper light setup for my tank. 2 24w 1200k daylights, 2 24w True actinics and LED moonlights. I'm surper excited! Now I can actually start putting some corals in it. As such, I move my Kenya tree to the bottom 1/3 of the tank, and my mushrooms to the very bottom. I also moved my ol...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Well, both the fish are still alive. The Clownfish is so small, he can only eat one itty bitty pellet at a time. He has to sit there and chew it for a few seconds, too! So, I've taken to dropping one pellet at a time into a feeding ring, and watching him chew. The Blenny is still skittish as can be,...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Ok, here are a few picks of the hermit crab, and the Kenya tree and Xenia. The picks don't do any of it justice, but you get the idea. BTW this crab's old shell was waaaaaay smaller than the one he's in now (like 1/5th the size). http://i39.tinypic.com/24bnkw9.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/v7go60.jpg h...

Re: Possible new tank - please advise!
Hmmmm... Oddly enough, I can't find any recent pics of the tank on my comp, and the lights are out on the tank right now. Will have to try and remember to take a few tomorrow. I did finally pull the trigger on the fish situation. I picked up a tiny clown fish, and a lawnmower blenny. They had a real...

Re: Possible new ocean - please advise!
Why on earth has the word tank been replaced with the word ocean on here? April Fool's Joke? Anyhow, my SW tank is still doing well. Still no fish in it, but I'm debating a clown or a lawnmower blenny. The Kenya tree is growing like a weed, and what I think is some sort of Xenia is looking quite nic...
