Wow given that i dont have accurate scales for ms222 and i'm not a vet maybe koi sedate is a better option?
I google'd koi sedate, so this is only sedative not ansthetic so should be milder?

I'm guessing internal parasites. I think the meds were too litlle to late for him. Very sad, will maybe try again but not for a while and not before i've got some reallly good anti parasite meds and a full qurantine tank setup and running.

Hmm, my understanding was a little different. How long salt takes to dissolve does depend on if the water is at the right temperature to begin with as it will dissolve more slowly in colder water. Well i tested the water today first thing, 0ppm nitrite and Amonia.
Releived to see that nice blue and yellow on my api test kit.
