it's around his mouth, it doesn't seems like it's coming out from inside of his mouth.

so i wasn't able to take a picture last night, there is only a bit of fluffy things on his mouth. i took out a ghost shrimp and cut the tail off so the congo can easily chase the shrimp and eat it. he didn't go after the shrimp, instead he went under the sand and hide. do you guys know what's going ...

I feed him every other day so pretty much 3 times a week and I have ghost shrimp in the tank if he is hungry. i also put golden snail in the tank and i notice there were lots of small snail later on in my tank which my congo would eat them sometimes. do you mean the tank size meter? Hi, Ammonia is 0 Nitrite is 0 Nitrate is 10 i have set up the tank for over 1 year. i have a congo puffer been with for 10 month. Are you using the Melafix and Pimafix because of the white marks on his body? Or because he's swimming in the crazy way? I would not use it for more than 7 days in total, so if you've already used it for 2 days, I would just continue for 5 days more. You also might want to add an airstone to the wa...

I do notice he does the "swing crazy left to right" move but these days he was acting strange. Normally when I go to the tank, he will greet me right away but these days he would just bury in the sand and not welling to move. also normally when I put in the food, he will go grab them right...

I also have snails in the tank but he doesn't seem to have interest on them at all...should i crash the snail and give it a shot?

Oh sorry I forgot to mention, I buy ghost shrimp once in 2 weeks for him so he has ghost shrimp for couple day then back to blood worm routine. also i feed him once in 2 days.

it was mouth and body fungas. I think the reason it's because i putted in some feeder snails hoping they would be happy and the water got polluted...they died with ick and fungas on their body.
there was a bit of nitrite and i wasn't sure why...but anyway i'm really sorry

Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry to say that congo passed away last Sunday morning. the tank water was fine but the fungas attacked the tank then he died couple days later with white hairy attached on his body. the red eyes also died from this disease...
