I also got a blue spoon, it's says the measurment to full is 2.5ml is this the same as yours?
Also what size cups are you using, or better still how many ml would you say 2-3 cups is?

Re: Got MS-222 - How much to use
Hi,
Valid Point - I am hoping for this advice as I have read the article but i could only see volumetric values for clove oil drops but nothing for exact measurements of MS222.

Re: Got MS-222 - How much to use
I just found the UK manufacturer/distributer Pharmeq online and ordered directly. It was £25 ish inc delivery for 25g
I am about to start although finding it difficult to measure 1g out, I think i may start with less and grdually build it up until he is under.

Re: Got MS-222 - How much to use
Thanks so much, the instructions are for farm fish like Trout, or for Carp fisheries, etc... also apparently you can only but the meds if your a vet which didnt seem to cause me any issue when purchasing. Not that I am complaining.

Re: current best practice for teeth trimming
Hi, Ive just picked up some MS-222 online in the UK to undertake the first teeth trimming of my two SAP's. I have read the library article and although nervous I'm confident how to do the trimming, what I am unclear on is what amount of the solution I should ad to the bowl in order to safely put the...

Re: SAP - White Spot Treatment?
Thanks do much for your quick response. I only have Brian and Merve in the aquarium, therefore I am going to go out and buy some Pimafix (or equivelent if my LFS don't have this). I'm glad it's not ich/ick although the smaller white dots that don't look like cotton wool sure do look like white spot....

Re: Tank Parasites?? Please Help!!
Phew! I think. We have both very thin worm like ones (only a few), but then lots of tiny tiny white pin like creatures that also look like they are 'crawling', i suppose these could be baby versions.....? Just over worried probably. We will obviously cut back on the feeding and try a few wat...

Tank Parasites?? Please Help!!
Hello, I hope you can help, we have just returned from a couple of days break during which time a trusted friend has come in and fed our 2 SAP (snails, freeze dried crill and frozen bloodworm). We are sure that they followed our instructions. Anyway, upon inspecting our tank we noticed that the glas...

Re: Tank Readings after SAP's added - and filter question!
A couple of good articles: http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/C_Asellus/ http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/puffers-in-focus/sap/ Ah ha. I have read about the tank sizes, and yes, I totally agree that soonish Brian and Merve will need a bigger tank. (im sta...

Tank Readings after SAP's added - and filter question!
Hi Everyone, I haven't even introduced myself yet, so I shall go and do that in a moment!! Ok - I hope I'm asking this in the correct forum. I was told, that in my 13.5 Gallon tank, I could keep 2 SAP's with no probs. :D I am slightly concerned about the filter that we have, and if it will cope with...

Colour of SAP?
Hi there, We have just got our first two SAP's and are really happy, the aquatics centre we got them from seemed really helpful (unlike some we had spoken to and visited), anyway they had been climatising this school of 5 or 6 for 2 months and were happy for us to take 2 of them. We've got them home...
