Nope, he's rarely in the same corner as the heater. He sleeps under a big log in the opposite corner.

Fahaka - strange wound
My Fahaka got a really strange wound last night. I'm not worried about the fish - I'm sure he'll be fine. I'm more curious about what happened.
He's got 3-4 Ancistrus as tankmates. Can they bite/suck a wound like that?

Re: "Pufferfish" in different languages
The word "puffer" in Swedish isn't unique at all: Kulfisk, means ball (more like marble) fish... Dwarf puffer is "dvärgkulfisk" (the same) and porcupine puffer is "blåsfisk" (blowfish)

Re: April POTM - Winner Announced!!
I must say that the results on this competition often surprises me! This month I thought #5 was the absolute best photo, very sharp and beautiful puffer :) #4 wasn't bad. The puffer was cooler, but not that sharp :S I guess you guys look more at the puffer than the quality of the picture. That's act...

Re: GSP color
I can't recall I've seen what you describe, but they do (like you say) change color after their mood. The pattern can differ a lot between indviduals, so the color changing... I suppose
Do you have some pictures or video? I would be awesome to see him!

Haha! Look's pretty creepy :S
Just want to point one thing out, you wrote: "I imediatly thought he'd fallen asleep against the heater and it had melted his eye over." The heater is constantly cooled and don't get warmer than the surrounding water
