Pump leaching rust in to tank
I have a 250g Fowlr. The return pump (pondmaster supreme 4800) was leaching rust into the water. I replaced the rotor.
Is there a problem having the rust in the water and if so any solutions?

If anyone ends up using that, I'd like to know how good it works. I've got 2 tanks I'm going to replace backgrounds on because the ones that I've got on now are ugly and dark. I want lighter and brighter. :D I have used that type of stuff. Yes use it. :D Equal to painted background. Don't put backg...

Re: Valentini puffer and largish shrimps
I inherited a few shrimps into my display tank, they're standard cleaner shrimps and I'm thinking of adding my valentini (about 2 inch) from it's QT tank back into the DT. Will the puffer automatically go for the shrimps or is there a chance it will just ignore them? My dogface puffer leaves the cl...

Re: Spiny Box Puffer (Burrfish)
Yes, you'd need a 75 minimum, that's what I have Paris in and I while its okay for stocking/size, she's a VERY active fish and I think she'd love a lot more swimming room! They are very prone to internal parasites, but it is manageable. Just be sure to have the store show you that the fish IS eatin...

Re: tank mates?
lol.... do they really eat the puffer Probably not.. these types of fish generally get really HUGE and are very nervous, jumpy fish. You'd need a huge tank, and it would get big enough to try to eat your puffer at some point, very likely. And puffers often don't do well with hyper, jumpy tankmates,...
