Re: Plecostamus with dwarf puffers?
NP Flutter, like I said I understood the concern :) I need to remember the litre thing when I post on other forums. On that other forum I am known enough that folks just know what I mean LOL. I have tried to keep ottos before and I am afraid I killed a bunch off. Whoops. Since then I have been reluc...

Re: Plecostamus with dwarf puffers?
Flutter please take a breath.. its a 20 Long as opposed to a 20H (20 high). I apologize for the confusion. Really didn't need to get yelled at there, but thanks, I understand the concern. The tank was fishless cycled for months. Not weeks, months. Yes with food any everything as the puffers needed a...

Plecostamus with dwarf puffers?
I am wondering if there is a kind of plecostamus that I can put into my 20L with my dwarf puffers. I have 5 DP in a lightly planted tank (trying to plant it better but I am new to plants and algae just killed off a bunch of it. I will get there LOL). I want to put a rubberlip in the tank with them ...

Re: DP in 5gal planted, any suitable tankmates?
Personally I would say that 2 would be fine in there. What they need more than anything else is a very established tank, and you need to get some really fat ones. They can be hard to keep alive as the shipping process is very hard on them. I would not get only one as they like company. A 5 is tight ...

Re: Not sure what to do.
You guys rock
I will be making at least one deep cave and probably some others out of rocks. Would it be best to make it a larger pile of rocks all in one area, or should I make separate little caves/piles?

Re: Not sure what to do.
Is there someplace I can get the puffers that I can know I am getting males or females? I Don't want to do this only to end up with a bunch of males and only one female.

Re: Not sure what to do.
Okay I have a 20 gallon long tank, so that is what I am going to go with. I couldn't really justify going bigger since I still couldn't even get 3 SAP's in there. I would really enjoy 3 SAPs. (Maybe in a different house, but not this tiny apartment- I already have 4 tanks here!!!) What is a Congo? I...

Re: Not sure what to do.
The most I could do is go with a 20 long over a 20 high, which would increase the footprint. I would consider a 30 gallon if there would be enough "pay off." Could I put 3 SAP's in a 30 gallon? If I go with the 3 DP's (in the 20 gallon) could I put something in with them? I have looked at ...

Not sure what to do.
Hello, I am new to this whole puffer thing so I am hoping that I can get some good guidance here. I would like to make my 20 high a puffer tank. I like the idea of dwarf puffers but I am sort of wanting something bigger so that I can see them better. I would like it to be full freshwater. I am hopin...
