if the readings are wrong, how is the other gsp fine as anything? saying that, the test kit i've used is the one i've got for my marines so would that make any difference? I used this one cos from what I've read gsp's will eventually need marine conditions.

Okayyyyy this may sound dozy but what on earth is an IP? I've heard of ich, saddleback, fin rot, gill rot (you name it i've seen it somewhere!!) But never heard of an IP. Is it serious? Is it treatable? Is it contagious to my other gsp?

Is it safe to de-frost the oyster and then re-freeze it? I won't be giving them food poisoning will I? Once I've done that I put a large chunk of shell in with a bit of meat and then fish the shell back out ready for next time? Kind of like a feeding bowl?
