I think my figure 8 puffer has a prolapsed rectum! He is in a 50 gallon brackish tank with one other figure 8 puffer. I just did a WC yesterday. 30% SG 1.004 Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates 20 pH 8.0 I use Amquel and Novaplus weekly with WC. I have a penguin 350 bio wheel filter. Temp is 78 degrees. T...

I suppose my f8 is just a shy puffer! haha....much like me so I understand his feelings. He has recently started begging for food tho since I read the article on how one day a week I should skip feeding him.

So how long did it take your puffers to start to recognize you? Any cute stories to share? I have had my figure 8 for a month now and he is still shy....bummer. He is still a baby and super cute so I don't mind! :lol:
