Re: WTB plants/snails

Haha ok! I've ordered a plant pack but it doesn't have any of the Anubis in it so I'm defiantly still interested :-)

Re: Marbled Crayfish Breeding?

And the marbled crays have tiny pinchers so no need to take them off

Re: Marbled Crayfish Breeding?

I ordered mine off a guy from eBay. I paid only $2 each plus shipping. I've only had mine a couple weeks and already have one berried. He shipped a berried one but the stress of the trip caused her to lose most of them. I have the 5 adults in a 10 gallon with PVC pipe (5" sections one for each ...

Re: WTB plants/snails

Well I can't spend a terrible lot this week since I've probably spent around $150 if not more on my fish over the weekend but I'd like to get a good start for my three tens and some for my 125 Fahaka tank..I ordered a small FR box filled with clippings from a girl off Facebook not sure what's in it ...

Re: WTB plants/snails

Sounds great ( other than the GSPs lol) how much are you wanting to sell and what's the price shipped (in kentucky) first class is fine if they aren't fragile. I wasn't 100% on planting the GSP tank anyway planning on going full salt with them at some point.

Re: WTB plants/snails

Looked them up and like them! Are they fairly easy to care for? I'm mostly wanting them for 10 gallon feeder tanks with shrimp, snails, crays, and bettas. I'd like to plant my fahakah and GSP tanks but afraid the GSPs would kill them lol my substrate in most tanks is pool filter sand. I don't mind c...

Re: Water Changer Questions (aqueon/python)

Got mine ordered! Also picked up a small vacuum for my cray/shrimp fry tanks...went with the python brand on both..wondering if I should sell my other vacuums or just hold onto them lol I have 3 or sizes for 10 gallon up to 125 gallon. Probably just hold onto them just in case

Re: Fahaka Feeding

I feed my adult Fahaka crayfish (I've started raising marbles so I can have a supply of healthy food on hand), snails, ghost shrimp, bloodworms, earth worms (don't like these much because the can make the water filthy looking), I also buy fresh uncooked coconut shrimp from the grocery. The snails, g...

Re: Water Changer Questions (aqueon/python)

Thank you all for your information, it's been very helpful! I've still not ordered the unit, the 50' python is where my thoughts are leaning. I believe my water pressure is good enough to do well and all of the tanks are on the second floor as is the faucets. Thanks again! Now I wish I had ordered d...

Do you have any suction issues with the longer hose? Either way I'm sure it will be better than my current bucket brigade lol

Re: Water Changer Questions (aqueon/python)

Thanks for the info! I use a regular gravel vac and only lose a little sand here and there but I keep extra on hand so no big deal there. I think I'll get the 25' it's cheaper and I can try to add length like you did. Thanks!

Water Changer Questions (aqueon/python)

I'm planning on buying a water changer. I have a few questions, first off what length of hose should I get? From all my tanks to the nearest faucet measures about 20'. Should I get a 25' or 50'? I'm afraid that if I order the smaller one I'll have trouble maneuvering in the tanks..but if I get the b...
