Re: Puffers hating light in new tank, stressed & keep going red

Hi, thought i'd update you all, they are so much better now, seem to finally have adjusted to the new tank, lights etc. No red tails anymore and eating very well. The water is now nitrite free also, so I'm really relieved! :-) Blondenblue - I'll try and order it online then, I live in the South East...

They seem fine this evening, although the smaller puffer still has a red tail and didn't seem to eat infront of...

Re: Puffers hating light in new tank, stressed & keep going red

Hi, thank you to both of you for your speedy replies. I wish I'd come on here in the first place!! :) I'll do a 25% water change as soon as I get home then and stop the meds. I only thought bacterial as the red tails were the 1st signs last time, but then this disapears as soon as I turn the lights ...

Puffers hating light in new tank, stressed & keep going red

Hi, I've got a problem with my fish and apologies but this is quite long so I can give you all the info you may need to advise! I have 2 colomesus puffers an Elephant Nose and a bristlenose plec ( they have all lived together peacefully for ages). Cycled a new tank for them as outgrew the old one, f...
