Palembangs stay small so he wouldn't actually eat the other fish. He would bite them though for sure - I kept a palembang with a Mystus Leucophasis & he bit a lump out of him. Also tried him with an African cichlid & again he ate half his tail. I really think the bigger risk is the RTC swall...

They had a stunning 2 foot Arowana in my local LFS, sharing a tank with an equally stunning 2 foot RTC..
