I have only used a floating hygrometer since I started raising the levels of my tank from fresh to full marine. They are calibrated for 60 degree F and according to all calculators and charts I have found, this works out to a reading of 1.021 at 75 degree and 1.020 at 80 degree. I mix my salt at 60 ...

Welcome to the forum and pufferkeeping. What kind of puffer do i have? It is green with black spots. It could be several, but probably a Green Spotted as they are quite common. Very interesting. I just picked up a bag of Nitra-Zorb as an emergency preventinve in case of an ammonia/nitrite spike as I have just moved all of my tanks around to make room for my new 72 gallon. Do you think that it would be good a preventitive measure for that case or should I just take it back?
