Re: discoloured spot and ring on my GSP, parasites?
They aren't even 2 inches yet and in a 40 gallon. Should i be worried about the biting? Is it time to upgrade to a larger tank?

Re: discoloured spot and ring on my GSP, parasites?

I thought i was imagining it but its been a few days strai...

What is this black stuff in my tank?
I have a BW tank with this stuff growing in my tank. I've never had it before a couple months ago. LFS suggested it was a bacteria not an algae and to use an antibacterial in the water. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before and if its safe to use the antibacterial.
