Re: Heater problem, need advice!
Thanks for the responses guys! So far the temo has held, even though it doesnt match the fron temp reading.... fingers crossed.... Do those old school style mercury thermo's go bad Pufferpunk? I thought maybe I could go buy another 2 and put them in the tank and if they read the same as the older on...

Ok guys, sorry you don’t see me much but its been awhile I know…. Ill explain in as fast a way as possible…. I purchased some new heaters, vistherm ones. Re: Thinking of raising PH? Do or not...
+1 Do not add commercial buffers to your tank, they can fail your natural balance. A pH of 8.0 is perfectly fine, and since fish do not have an ability to register external pH, your GSP won't mind. What is your current SG and the size of your puffer? When you reach full marine SG, your pH will foll...

Thinking of raising PH? Do or not...
Hi everybody, Ijust have a quick question? My brackish tank which houses my adult GSP currently stays stable at a ph of 8. I was thinking of purchasing seachems marine buffer to try and maintain it at 8.3 and make it a little more marine-like? According to the pufferpedia on GSP's it claims the end ...

Re: New Animal Planet Series: Tanked
Yea, the skate ramp tank is indefensable.... I agree with you J-P, Mr. Saltwater tank would be a great addition to the show! Maybe a segment at the end of each episode dealing with fish health?

Re: GSP not so Green anymore
From my understanding, the body will darken but as long as his neon spot on his head stays nice and bright and his belly isnt dark all the time he should be ok.....
Now if the neon spot ever goes dark there could be a problem..... right pufferpunk?

It's not just them, either. It blows my mind how much food is wasted in the States Yea, no kidding.... I used to work at a denny's as a bus boy and the amount of food we wasted in a day would feed a family of four 3 square meals a day with some left over. Or wrong orders or stuff like that would ju...
