Please post pics of your GSP
Hi all!
I know that GSP's have the potential to grow to 6", but does anyone have pics of their large GSP and his setup? I want to eventually get mine into a 55g so he can grow and I would love to see pics from some of you who are experienced with puffers.
Thanks!
Lisa

Re: How much do I feed my GSP?
Thanks for the info. Trust me, I have read every article in the library about feeding...sometimes I feel like the biggest dork in the world. I usually thaw the cube in tankwater and feed them to him with a dropper used for feeding fry. It's kinda like hand feeding him. I feed him half a cube and usu...

Re: How much do I feed my GSP?
His belly does get bigger when I feed him, but he just acts like he is starved out! What type of mussles do you feed and where do you get them...if you don't mind me asking indie.

How much do I feed my GSP?
Ok, so this little guy is only about 1 1/2", but seems to stay hungry! I bought him some frozen bloodworms and he loves them. He will eat a whole cube and still eat 5-6 snails. Is this enough/too much to feed him in one day? Should I feed him less/more? Any advice is appreciated.

How do I feed my GSP?
I am still a bit confused about how I am supposed to feed my GSP. I have snails in other tanks, but when I drop them in, he ignores them and they end up dying because of the salt in his tank. I have tried krill...he nibbles on it and then ignores it as well. I know they like live food, but what in t...

Re: Newb GSP Help
Thanks for your help indie. I have a hydrometer, so I just need to mix the salt into the water before I pour it into the tank, right? This saltwater thing seems very difficult. Also, do I just drop him in a few snails to eat on each day or should I be feeding him other things?

Newb GSP Help
OK, so my husband bought a GSP instead of a dwarf so I am trying to give this little guy a good home. I have had freshwater fish for 15 years, but saltwater just freaks me out!I've read everything I could find about GSP, but still need some advice. I had him in a freshwater setup for about a week. I...

Re: Puffer Id Please Help :)
OK, the really skinny puffer dies a couple of hours after being put into the tank. The other one seems to be doing ok for now. He is very fat and is swimming all over the place. Should he still be treated? Now I have to sell my angel pair so this guy will have a 30g tank to go into...assuming that w...

Re: Puffer Id Please Help :)
No, he just brought them home today. I'm not dure that the really skinny one is going to make it. What should I do now? I have a thirty gallon I cvan put him in after I sell my angel pair, so tank size isn't an issue...I'm just not so sure about adding salt to the water.

Puffer Id Please Help :)
Hi, I have been researching dwarf puffers for about a month now. I have a 10g tank all setup and my husband found these guys at a lfs labeled "puffers". I'm not sure what kind of puffers he got. Can someone please help identify these guys and give me some info on them if they are not dp? h...
