Update, I lost him today. He was a great fish, I thank all you for the help, and I learned not to listen to any lfs. I seen a healthy 12" Fahaka for the first time today, beautiful fish, I hope to have one soon. Fantastic Fins in Mich, great pet store, Something Fishy sucks bad.

Update, he is still alive, but one of his eyes have blood in it or behind it, any ideas on how to treat this, it looks like pop eye, but I have never seen it.

When I first got him he liked ghost shrimp. I have tried mysis shrimp, daphnia, and frozen krill. I just put some ghost shrimp in the tank today. He just acts real tired, and seems like he can't see. His coloring changes from a gray color to a gray and black, and his belly is a yellow, I think from ...

I was wondering if there is away to tell if he is blind, he has white spots in his eyes, does ick do that or could he blind?

if I did get like a 100 gal, what else in the puffer family could I put with him, that would get along

does anyone know someone in the detroit area that would take him, I would hate to take him back to the lfs

The other fish I had died, I guess due to water salinity, or improper cycling in the start. I know I need to get him in a bigger tank, but I do not have the money, for a little bit. I did drip him to freshwater, he looks and acts a lot better. I will do some water changes over the next couple days t...

I also treated the tank with API fungus cure, I think he has eye cloud.

This is my first fish tank, I was going by the help of my lfs, which I now know they screwed me on info and fish.

I cycled it with a Fahaka, a figure 8, and a GSP. It took about 3 weeks with the help of a product called Stability, made by Seachem.

I found out last night the lfs tank was 1.oo2, I have always changed my water every 2-3 weeks while it was brackish. I was told by the lfs I cycled it right.

oh and tank size is 29 gal. the fish is 3-4 inches long
