dwarf puffer not hungry....?
I have a dwarf puffer that is not a very big eater. I feed him frozen and freeze dried bloodworms and their are some days when he doesn't want to eat either of them. He is a pretty skinny puffer and quite small. Can anyone give me food suggestions or any tips? thanks.

clean my tank...?
Ive always had freshwater fish and most the time I can get a pleco or snail to clean the glass in my tank. But, obviously since I have a GSP I cant keep anything in the tank with him. What would be the best way to clean the algae off my glass and filter?

After, he died I bought a guppy to keep the bacteria alive and I noticed that the guppy spends all of its time at the top of the surface. Since I had the puffer I changed the gravel out for sand thats al...

Re: GSP emergency!
One question....Do I still need to cycle my tank? I had my 2 puffers live their for about 3 weeks give or take. I still also have about 6 ghost shrimp swimming around and about a dozen mini snails that he never ate. Should I put in a brackish fish or do you think my tank is puffer ready?

Sand or Gravel ???
I am restarting my tank since my puffer died and I am deciding whether or not I should replace my undergravel filter and rocks for a sand bottom...What would the benefits be from this if any? Is the maintenance similar to a gravel bottom? Which would you prefer and why?

Re: GSP emergency!
I might look into that light suggestion because im pretty sure my fish doesnt like light. I got off work just now and found my puffer at the top of the water floating in the bubbles and he wasn't moving any of his fins like usual he was just floating at the top and it almost looked like the top of h...
