I have fake ...you can use driftwood ..but he seems to like to hide in the plants ..I ahve him in 40 g althought hey Only Need a 25 ..he seems to like one side of his tank more than The other.I have a few terrecotta pots, rocks but he likes being in the plants the most ..definatly no other fish ..wh...

I have an abei ..They are a very fun Puffer with a lot of adittude I have sand in my tank ..for food mine likes Mussels ,bloodworms and sanils,dosn';t care for Squid ,brineshrimp ..but he is weird enough to eat a pea here and there.. It would be good to have lots of little hiding spots ..anad plants...

I found my abei in Brantford Ontario just south west of Toronto ...mind you I had no clue what it was ..and he was the only one ..even the owner said he has a hard time finding them

I get that too !! people always ask "why do you only have one fish in that big tank"?...or where is the fish ?? my puffer is usually active unless he is digesting his last meal ..I think your fahaka will grow in no time !! ...you can always say what I say to people.."stick you finger ...

I use rubbermaids all the time for my goldfish some are even housed in them for months at a time they are a good cheap tank ,just watch for other critters that you may have and be sure to reinforce the sides with bungi cords or rope as the weight of the water can make the sides bow :) the only thing...
