The scat is the total dominate alpha male. I've been thinking of revoking him for the longest. I always have break out the net to separate him from either of the two puffers. as far as the nitrites go, is that the NO3 reading on my test?

This reminds me of Walmart. I saw GSPs suffering, like 20-30 in a 10 fresh-water gal tank. I tried to educate the worker and I received rudeness. I emailed corporate to educate them and got nothing more than an automated response.
I swear, the frozen fish and the grocery store get treated better!

Well, I took a picture so I thought I'd share. Yes that's a rather large clam for them to eat, but the next morning it was completely empty. Just wanted to update you guys. My 2 GSP's would rather be friends with the ghost shrimp for some reason. They went crazy for the clams. The larger GSP was actually looking very pale, but is now brightly colored and lots of vigor when eating the clam.

What do you feed your scat?
I feed mine lettuce as well as krill and occasionally frozen bloodworms. He still goes after the plants though.

I never got to see them eating the ghost shrimp, but I assume they DID eat them. I just bought some clams, they are "short necked clams". So will my puffers bust through the shell? The clams are about 1.75" diameter.
