I feed cockle in shell and mussel, shrimps, lance fish, prawns. I also use a staple diet of marine flake mainly for the other fish as the puffer swallows most of the meat before the other have chance to get there. The tank is custom built octagon dimensions are 48 x 30 x 30 which is approx 150 uk gallons. It has a lot of rock live and ocean base rock. he is one of my favorite fish, it eats everything so much so that i have to feed him first so hes nice a full and goes and sits on rock to digest his food then i can feed the other fish or they loose out. Hi, its not the cost of purchasing the MBU that really worries me its buying a sickly one as some look unhappy in the shops. I just dont want attached to a creature that is sickly.

just been cleaning my puffer tank out and the biggest puffer who is 3" and fat, sneaked up on my hand and bit me quite hard it was like an electric shock.
is this normal for gsp's? or is he being territorial or did he think my hand was food?
