Thanks to everyone for the help, I have done many water changes and vacced the substrate well, and now add the salt to the water (in the bucket) and YAY!!! Beautiful clear water it's been good for a few weeks now so I hope it's sorted out

Ok thanks did another water change last night, still murky, but I'll try changing the pad in the filter and see what happens then, good thread PP

I have an Oto, 2 Crystal Shrimp and several Cherry Shrimp in with my DP's, there was a bit of interest to start with but no fatalities The Shrimp are great to watch and brilliant clean up crew

I read about the salt in the marine tank section so thought that may be it

No rocks in there at all so it can't be that, and the Nitrate level is <20 only silk plants

Bill n Ted really like frozen prawn, mussels, snails and bloodworms I try to vary it from day to day but bloodworms are def the favourite
