i have tried FD blood worms and mysis shrimp.. they act like they dont want it. I know they eat "something" because every now and then i'll see one with a round belly. yesterday i thawed the blood worms and mysis shrimp and poured them out into little cups and put back the the freezer.. it...

need help with feeding dwarf puffs

i finally got the black worms, i have them in the cone feeder and they arent even going near it! i'm at my wits end trying to feed these guys. How long should i leave the cone with the worms in there?? any ideas?

thanks, but i didnt mean the question to sound like i was asking mainly about the liveness of sand. that was just one sand i came across that happend to be black like i want, and arogonite, like i thought puffers were better off with. That was my main question..in all my reading i gathered that arog...

Best GSP substrate?

about to set up 110 gallon for my GSPs.... whats the ideal substrate to use? I really like my black tahitian moon sand, but i've read that aragonite is best for them.. I did find Black Beach arogonite sand... said its got live bacteria to control nitrates and such.. but thats its only for saltwater....

instant ocean is a good marine salt. also dont make the mistake i did, i got a hydrometer and didnt realize that it didnt read low enough for brackish water.. so i wound up buying 2. GL
