Please have a look at rescues if you want a parrot (cockatiels are parrots, part of the cockatoo family). There are hundreds and hundreds of wonderful birds out there in need of a lasting home, and the number is rapidly growing as more people buy them and realise how much work it takes to look after...

I didn't mean Dr Tims by the way, I meant the Bio-spira and safestart which are now the same, or so it looks to me.

Yes they don't use the original formula but they're both the same product.

Yes they're both owned by spectrum so use the same formula.

But with Wal-Mart being a big corporation, isn't there some way we can all do something to hit them and MAYBE make some changes happen? I signed that petition that was posted a few months back. And I'd write an email every day if I thought it would help. It just seems silly that they keep ordering ...

I agree with RTR, most fish can see in colour, some fish are even tetra-chromats so they have better vision than us!

I believe you can get technical with it, but for most purposes it is fair enough to just say 1 mg/l = 1 ppm

As long as you give variety there is no reason why it shouldn't provide better nutrition than pellets. Some birds take to fruit and veg in different ways, I know people who say their smaller birds prefer the whole fruit/veg rather than chopped up, so they hang the veggies up or make perches out of t...
