Yes, their belly can stretch quite a bit! Are they looking skinny before feeding?

Re: Introducing an undersized GSP into your existing community
GSPs are not piscivores, so fish (also beefheart) are not suggested foods for them. I suggest spot-feeding the lil guy, while the others are feasting. https://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/puffers-in-focus/an-introduction-to-green-spotted-puffers/ https://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/...

Re: Moving Lump GSP
If it is not affecting his ability to swim (being an air pocket), then the only thing left is a Nematode worm. There is nothing you can do about this. Just keep his water clean & hope he can live as long as possible with it.

Re: Substrate For Pea Puffers
Yes, I have sand & plants in all my tanks. I use play sand from the hardware store but you have to rinse it a LOT! If it is just for a 10g, just buy 10lbs from the pet store. 15g is recommended for pea puffers, so you can keep 5-6 of them. They like to be in groups.

Re: Figure Eight Puffer food questions
ALWAYS uncooked, with shell on. Cut up the food to only feed enough for them to eat in 5 minutes.
