Re: My Puffer
Got a couple new shots today..Fed the tank a treat of whole shelled(i took the shell off) frozen at sea shrimp. The HB's and puffer love it..attacked it as soon as i put it in tank. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff4/FizzleDarkbane/puffershrimp.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff4/FizzleDa...

Re: Fry
Fry are doing well..Held off getting the shrimp to breed for now. Im just getting a few this week from a local reputable breeder instead, until my HB's get a bit bigger.

Re: Fry
lol its ok. If i did have shrimp in there, they would get a workout tryin to get the halfbeaks. They are quite a fast fish, and only stay at the surface of the water. They never go below until they are bigger and older.

My Puffer
So i finally made the plunge into Brackish. Ive been debating on it for a while. All my FW fish i had went to great homes, and i obtained a F-8 from someone who didnt want it anymore. It lived the first part of its life(a while from what im told) in a 5gallon tank, and was moved into my 55gal with m...

Re: i just fed my ceylon puffer a carrot...
I cant see a carrot being bad for a puffer..Its full of carotene as with ghost shrimp along with other shrimps. Plus the vitamins it might get in the wild from native plants/corals(when/if they go full SW). If i may be wrong with this, but im sure carrots have a good amount of calicum in them also. ...

Re: New person with questions..
My celebs were in with my african cichlids i had..and didnt get bothered at all. I think they might be ok with the puffer. I'd be more worried about a violet goby then the halfbeaks.
The mono's im looking at max out at around 8" in aquariums.
Any other suggestions for a 55? besides mollies..lol
