Puffer & lionfish compatibility?
My friend just got a lionfish for her 80 gallon FOWLR tank. She was interested in a toby puffer as well but not sure if it would be safe to have it in with the lionfish. The other inhabitants of the tank are a clownfish and a small black damselfish with a white spot. (I know little about saltwater s...

Re: Can anyone help with my snail problem please?
I used to have the "mystery snails" that you can get at the generic pet shops and the filter tube in my snail breeding tank would have to be de-slimed on a weekly basis. (I think I was overfeeding them as well, but they do seem to produce a lot of slime). Then I had a big temperature drop ...

Re: SNAILS!!
That is ridiculous that they were charging you for those. I go to petco / petsmart for supplies & snails, and the only snails they sell are the apple/mystery snails so they give away the ramshorns & pond snails for free. They charge $1.50 - $1.95 for the apple snails.

Re: SNAILS!!
Ask your LFS person if you can have some pest snails, they will have tiny ones on the live plants and such and should be able to give you them for free, then you can feed some to your puff and breed the rest in another tank. I actually have some breeding in my puffer tank, in a floating plastic bamb...

Re: New GSP Mad At Me????
My GSP was mad at me when I did a water change, and since he's been in his new tank I can tell he appreciates the better water quality, but I think he's still peeved at me for catching him in a teacup from his old tank. They seem to be moody, but I'm sure yours will settle in and forget his grudge a...

My GSP has faint spots on the fan part of the tail, and he/she is about 1.5" long.

Re: GSP has the "shakes"
I will certainly do that. He seems to be doing much better right now, has been exploring his tank and rooting around for food.

GSP has the "shakes"
Hi, Pufferpunk, thank you for talking with my husband last night about our GSP.
