I switched shemps tank to a 45 gallon tank. He is now almost low end saltwater whoots!!! I took all of his sand from his old tank put it into the new tank moved some of his filter media to the new tank in with the new filter. I let it set added some amonia brought it up to just under 5 ppm. Checked ...

some of Mine did the same thing but they will warm up to you after a few feedings. Just make sure you slowly raise the Sg up so you dont kill off your bacteria.

I agree on the craigslist, I see fish stuff all the time ranging to all kinds of equipment. you can save alot on there.

I have a small fake hollow log in one tank that my GSP Shemp likes to swim thru. in my large tank i have a large bridge they like to hide in and play in also. Definatly get a larger tank your gonna have to start cycling it to get it ready for the GSP's
