PH is about 7.5-7.7
Temp is around 78 - 80 F
and Tank size is 30 gallons
I was thinking it might be from the slate I have in there I guess I will take it out than. Do you recommend anything in the tank aside from just my puffer and sand?
Thanks again guys

Re: Congo Puffer Right fin problem
No a couple of ghost shrimp that are used to feed him but it does kind of look like the fin has been nipped. It is so weird I'm not sure how that could have happened. Do you think it could have burned it on the heater in the water?

Re: Cross River T. pustulatus?
I'm not sure whether I'm going to get this guy mainly because he's already so big. I'll check back every now and then at the LFS and see if he grows on me.

Re: Cross River T. pustulatus?
Ok I went back to the LFS to see if this puffer was still available and to take more pics. Unfortunately, he looked worse and more lethargic than before, but I heard it was from the strong medication, daily water changes, and the fasting its had to endure. Here are some more photos: http://img149.im...

Re: Cross River T. pustulatus?
Ouch $600 for a fish? There were other baby puffers about 1-2" listed at $35, and this one was at least 4x bigger so I doubt this one will go that cheap. Maybe tomorrow I'll snap some better pics of the fish with an actual camera instead of my phone.

Re: Cross River T. pustulatus?
The tank was marked Fahaka $34.99, but it could have been from the previous fish sold since it's being quarantined. Any idea how much it's worth once it gets healthy?
Thanks for the reply,

Cross River T. pustulatus?
I was browsing my LFS today and found a new addition in their tank. Unfortunately, they say it's not for sale until they treat the worms on it. Can anyone confirm what type of puffer is at this shop? http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4567/puffer1rt8.th.jpg http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/1862/puffer...
