Re: DP wont eat
I know it was a bad move but I had set it up the same day I got him but the filter was mature and I had the intent on doing changes to make sure it stayed safe for him.

Re: DP wont eat
I did the change but I just check in on him a few minutes ago to find him stuck in the filter intake. I had to lift the filter out of the water to get him out...I placed him in a small cup of water to see if he was still breathing and nothing. I think he might have been sick when i got him because I...

Re: DP wont eat
I think it's to late for him now. I am unable to check the parameters because I need to buy a kit at the moment. I tried leaving food in there at night but in the morning it was all there so I just cleaned it all up. He just lays around now and when he does swim he spirals. So I think it's just a ma...

Re: DP wont eat
I know for the most part he sleeps at night. He's just laying around during the day, hiding and not coming to see me. I'll try leaving a few blood worms during the night. And I think his belly looks a little sunken. It's hard to tell when he doesn't come into sight.

DP wont eat
I have tried almost everything. He's in a 2.5g which i do 50% frequently. I've tried frozen blood worms, frozen Daphnia and even snails. He just stares at them up and down the glass. I've had him a week now. He could still be settling in but I'm worried about him.

Re: F8 tank size
I'd rather take the time to make sure everything is done right the first time. Thank you for your kind words though. I have my hands full with raising betta's at the moment anyway. ^^

F8 tank size
After getting my first DP last week, I've been reading up on the larger puffers, F8s and GSPs mostly. Since GSP's are to big for me to handle right now, I was thinking an f8. I have been reading up and know that they would be happier in a 15g but I was wondering if one could possibly handle a 10 gal...
