Is there any way you could drain the tank until it held just enough water for him, then transport him "in tank"? ya theres no way i could do that, i live an upstairs apartment with really lame stairs. tanks just too big. There is no way you could use clove oil for this, he'd be dead in 10...

you might want to look at pufferpedia to make sure what u got. and yes fahakas are wild caught 12 is a good price ive seen them from 15 - 120 so the price verys alot... not all puffers will eat straight out the bag my arrowhead puffer didnt eat for 2 weeks and he was very active and attacked whateve...

My Wife Bought Me A Fish On Her WAy Back From A Trip Was 6 Hrs And They Used A Heat Packet. And Also Kept The Fish In A Box To Keep It Dark For Less Stress And It Did Fine. Im Sure There Shipments From All Over Are Alot More Stressfull Then A Car Ride.

ya i dunno why they say they are rare the 2 shops i seen them at. they are pretty small puffer for that high of a pice tag i thought... seattle is weird with puffer prices cause i see fahakas for 20 , mbus for 40 at one spot and the next spot will be like fahajas 80 and mbus 150... im useing those 2...

ive always wondered why there is such a big diff in tank size between the mbu and the Fahaka. mbu for 1000 gallons and Fahaka 120 gallons and isnt even double size but suggested tank size is 10 times bigger.... but yea its really opinion. bigger is always better for any fish
