well im not planning on turning the tank into a full marine for a while as the cost for live rock would be expensive but i might decide to do that in a year. but do you guys use canister filters for your brackish tanks? what are the benifits of a canister against a normal filter other than no noise

cool sounds like im going to get a ceylon... does anyoe know how fast they grow and at what size i should put them into full marine?

And does anyone know about what canister filter would do best on a 55 gallon?

what other fish could i keep with a ceylon? maybey a tang once it gets to high end brackish/marine? and if i were to get a filter should i get a canister or a normal filter? and as far as canister filters go what should i get for a 55? and would a eel work in a 75 gallon because i might be able to s...

would i be better off gettting a fluval cannister filter? and if so which one? or would i want to stick with a plain filter

How many cups are in 160 gallons? because it only costs like $40 to get 160 gallons of instant ocean. Also, if i go full marine could i have a small eel in there or would the puffers pick on it. and what is the conversion for cups of salt per gallon to raise the salinity by .05 oh yeah and would a 7...

okay so if i got a ceylon and found a small fish or two that could live in high end brackish i think ill go with that because the ceylons have a more ball-shape than gsp's do.

would a burrfish work in this tank? and how long would it take for him to get to his max size of 10 inches?

and would it be harder to maintain saltwater than brackish or no?

Alright thanks again for the tips. At this point i am just looking for a puffer between 3-10 inches because the Figure eights are a little small. Would two Gsp's work with the dragon goby? or would one work?
