i have to order a new puffer. my fish store doesn't carry them in stock. i hope i will have another by tuesday. i'm heading out there soon to order it. and i will be covering up thosew holes soon too.

new fig8 jumped to his death.

i just went into see my wee beautiful fig8 puffer and i couldn't find him anywhere. so i started looking around the tank and there he was. half dried out behind the tank. he jumped out of a gap on the back of the hood . so any good ideas on how to plug this hole up. all water stats were good. amonia...

i think i'll try to get my hands on some ramshorn snails then.

so mysis and bloodworm is ok. i am going to the fish monger soon to try to get some small shrimp in their shells to freeze for the puffer.

i was wondering apart from snails what is a good food to feed a f8 puffer. i fed him for the first time today. i gave him a small portion of mysis and he seemed to like it. so basicly should i feed him on mysis, krill and blood worm. i have loads of this in the freezer. also because he is tiny shoul...

well everybody my wee f8 is in the tank now. he's been in there 9 hours now and is swimming about exploring his new home. he's only about 3 quarters of an inch long. anyone want to suggest a good puffer name. i can't think of any good ones. here's a couple of pics. he is camera shy. when ever i brin...

well everyone tommorrow i should be picking up my puffer, hopefully.

i have planted the tank out well with loads of plastic plants and will soon build a cave.

i can't wait to start my puffer adventure.

i got my fish store to order my fig8 today so i should be able to pick him/her up next week. the cycle has finished already so i'm adding amonia to keep the bacteria alive untill i get my puffer.
