I was reading thru the questions and noted one lady has a snail tank and was wondering how to go about setting one up. My GSP gets frozen bloodworms and mysis shrimp. Snails would be great if I can keep them on hand!! How to's???
thanks

Re: Praise God, He's already well!!!
I appreciate your help and information, part of my confusion is that the kit I just purchased has no Nitrate measurer in it. Can I get one of these seperatly?? I understand I can't put Ammonia in it now, but is there something I can/should be doing???
Thanks so much

Re: Praise God, He's already well!!!
I see where you got nitrites of 2 no no the cards for the tests are labeled " Nitrite NO. 2 and Nitrite NO. 3" two different tubes for nitrites. but they both are testing at zero. which is what I was told it should be. YOUR RIGHT... both shops apparently know little to nothing about puffer...

Okay!! As soon as I read your posts I chased down the SAE and they are in a floater tub right now and will get them out tomorrow. Pudge is now dark all over. I followed the instructions from LFS on cycling. I ran it w/ some of their established gravel for a month. They checked the water and said I c...

Okay, he's swimming and so I can see the front 1/2 of belly is white and the back 1/2 is blackish. I'm going to try to feed him and see if he is more interested.

Re: green spotted puffer in freshwater?
My LFS guy was just telling me yesterday that I should be slowly changing my brachish to marine for my puffer. Re: black tummy is back

Re: black tummy is back
he has lots of plants and a rock grouping that he can get under. He's never been afraid when the light was on before. I feed w/ a syringe and he comes up and pecks at it until I squirt a few bloodworms out. He has always been outgoing.

I reported after a water change he was back to normal within an hour. that night last night, he was mostly black belly again, staying mostly on the bottom w/ tail curled, very little interest in the blood wor...

Dear Pufferpunk,
This morning, Pudge, had a black tummy and all that, then he got better, and that was when I posted this, but now he is back to black tummy and everything, so please don't delete! I really need some advice on him.
