Homer eating an electric blue crayfish
Here is a video of Homer eating an electric blue crayfish. Expensive meal but they were free to me and the pair hasn't done anything for me and I need their tank to breed snails so they are becoming his meal. I breed enough marbles in a 55g to keep Homer happy but was hoping the electric blues where...

Re: 10g. Snail tank
One thing I found if your using an HOB is it is best to put a prefilter on the intake, my snails tend to get stuck in the intake if I don't use one. Also I tried guppy's in mine too until I caught them eating the eggs.

Re: Knight goby
I started with 5 and the only time I ever really saw them was during feeding, now that 4 of them committed suicide, the one that is left seems to be way more active now and I see him all the time.

Re: Half gravel Half sand?
I have known a few that have done the divided substrates and over time they will get mixed up by the fish(especially a fahaka) or during wc's.

The molly's have been in there for a couple months now with no problems. The F8's are the bosses of the tank:D

Re: Couple vids of the brackish tank
It is not convicts in there, they are orange chromides. All my fish get along great. I have had the F8's for around 5 years now and they have been with a few different fish and never any problems. The eel you speak of is actually a dragon goby, and yes that is a knight goby you see in there. The tan...

Couple vids of the brackish tank
Here are a couple vids of the brackish tank. Notice the mountain of crushed coral at the one end of the slate cave, the dragon goby made that. He is always busy moving the substrate around. Also I am down to one knight goby now as the rest committed suicide, but since then this one is way more activ...

Re: Our new snake, help with ID if possible please
Here are some new pics of her, was giving her a bath because the last couple molts haven't been clean ones. The last one was better though. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/taureandragon76/DSCF4582.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/taureandragon76/DSCF4581.jpg http://i251.photobuc...

Re: F8's in a 29G
I keep my two in a 60g, they used to be in a 33g. After having them in the 60g for a couple years now I wouldn't have them in anything smaller. They make use of every square inch in the tank.

Had no idea PP, everyone always says that it's a big no-no to use in fish tanks. Learn something new everyday

Re: Need help with new Fahaka...pleeeease
Are you sure it is table salt you are using? If so that alone can kill a fish. When using salt it has to be non-iodized salt, like kosher salt or pickling salt.
